Wallet guide

Your Pass wallet is a prepaid spend balance. You load it manually and apps draw from it per request. You see every charge as it happens.

Topping up

Open your Pass dashboard and go to the Wallet tab. Enter an amount and click Top up. A Flutterwave payment modal opens. Pay by card, USSD, or bank transfer. Your balance updates immediately once the payment is confirmed on our end.

Minimum top-up: $1.00. There is no maximum. Your balance never expires.

Auto top-up

In Settings, you can enable auto top-up. Set a threshold (the balance level that triggers a refill) and a replenish amount (how much to add each time). When your balance drops below the threshold, Pass tops up automatically using the same payment method on file. You can disable this at any time.

How charges work

Each time you use a connected app, a small amount is deducted from your wallet based on the rate you agreed to when you connected. Charges are per kilobyte of data the app returns. If an app charges $0.000010/KB and a request returns 50 KB, your wallet is debited $0.000500. Every charge appears as a line item in your Transactions tab instantly.

Rates are fixed at connection time. The rate shown on the consent screen is the rate you will always pay for that connection. It cannot be changed after you accept.

When your balance hits zero

When your wallet reaches $0.00, the Cladior proxy stops forwarding requests for all connected apps. The apps themselves still load normally; only the proxied API calls are blocked until you top up again. No session is revoked and no connection is broken. Topping up restores access immediately.

You can set a low-balance browser notification in Settings. Pass will alert you before your balance runs out so you can top up without interruption.

Reading your transactions

Every wallet event appears in the Transactions tab. Each row shows the type (top-up or charge), the app that triggered it if applicable, the amount, and the timestamp. Click any row to see the full breakdown including data consumed and the reference ID.

Charges show a negative amount (red). Top-ups show a positive amount (green).

Privacy

Cladior charges by data size only. The content of what you access through connected apps is not read or stored by Cladior.
